Our Dental Technology
Our facility boasts State-Of-The-Art equipment, technology and comfortable treatment rooms.
Nitrous Oxide
Nitrous oxide is a anxiety management technique that is very safe for children and adults with no after-effects.
An added benefit of nitrous oxide is that many patients feel little, if any, discomfort with procedures such as injections of local anesthetics in the mouth. After the appointment the patients leave the office with no restrictions on activities.
ViziLite – Oral Cancer Screening
When oral cancer is found at the earliest stage, treatment is quicker, simpler, less invasive, and more than 90% successful.
Oral cancer is one of the most curable diseases when it’s caught early. And that’s why a simple exam has been developed using technology that has been proven successful in identifying other types of precancerous abnormalities.
Dexis Digital X-rays
Dr. Lesch uses digital dental X-Rays to provide even better dental care and more accurate diagnoses. The process of digitally capturing an image is much faster, safer and more comfortable for the patient.
The digital dental X-ray system is more sensitive than dental X-ray film systems, so your exposure to X-rays is cut by as much as 90 percent. The large color-enhanced images allow you to see what Dr. Lesch sees, making it easier for you to understand the treatment needed.
State-of-the-Art Infection Control and Sterilization
The spread of any type of disease is a major cause for concern, that’s why our office practices the latest sterilization techniques to insure your health and well-being. Every member of our clinical team is well-trained in these techniques.
Our sterilization techniques include, but are not limited to, the constant use of gloves, eye protection and consistent washing of hands. All of our instruments are sterilized before and after each use and all of our treatment rooms are carefully cleaned and disinfected.
We meet or exceed the highest infection control standards available today.
Intra-Oral Camera
All patient exams in our office are performed with the intraoral camera allowing you to view your teeth and identify any problem areas. It is the size of a dental mirror and enables us to diagnose problems in their earliest stages such as:
- Cavities
- Cracked Teeth
- Broken Fillings
- Cavities Next To Old Fillings
The widespread use of fluoride has made the surface of teeth so hard the process of dental decay has changed. Cavities are smaller and harder to diagnose.
